PHILIP'S METEORIC RISE FROM SERVICE ADVISER TO DEALER PRINCIPAL

It has been a meteoric rise to the top for ex-service adviser Philip Corfield.

In just over two and a half years with the Arthurs Group, he has been appointed to the senior role of Dealer Principal at their Wrexham Peugeot dealership.

Philip, 41, started with Arthurs as a service adviser at their Oswestry dealership in 2016 and after nine months was promoted to aftersales manager at Wrexham.

Two years later he was appointed group aftersales manager encompassing their Wrexham, Oswestry and Newtown dealerships, and now has risen to the role of dealer principal.

He will continue to oversee aftersales for the Arthurs Group.

Of his new appointment, he said today:  "I am overwhelmed, but absolutely delighted.  These are exciting times for Arthurs Peugeot.

"I now feel that after nearly four years in Wrexham, Arthurs Peugeot is ideally set to take a major leap forward.

"Great challenges lie ahead, but the dealership is bursting with energy and enthusiasm."

Philip became an apprentice technician on leaving school at 16 and subsequently became a master technician before moving into aftersales.

Said Arthurs Group Managing Director Nigel Williams: "We are all delighted with Phil’s progress with Arthurs, he has really adapted to the Arthurs culture of working hard and putting our customers at the heart of everything we do.

"In his latest role Phil will be going through a big learning curve, but we are confident he will make a large success of this position."
