DOMESTIC CHARGING SOCKET

As with your smartphone, you can charge your electric car from a standard socket, and a standard on-board charger.

An accessory cable is available to purchase for this method of charging, although it is not our recommended method for daily charging*.

WALL BOX
Using a Wall Box saves YOU significant charging time with the optional on-board charger. The cable needed for this type of charging will be supplied with your vehicle. 

Example: 1 hour 55 minutes to fully charge your battery on the New Peugeot 308 HYBRID (with the mode 3 cable and the optional 7.4 kW single-phase on-board charger)

WHAT ARE THE FACTORS THAT INFLUENCE THE CHARGING TIME?

The charging time of your Hybrid car also depends various factors:

The high-voltage Lithium-ion battery (300V) has a capacity of between 11.8 kWh - - or 508 Plug-In Hybrid and 508 SW Plug-In Hybrid and 13.2 kWh For 3008 Plug-In Hybrid and Plug-In Hybrid 4.

In order to best optimize CO2 consumption, favour driving in 100% electric mode for your daily urban journeys. Electric trips can reach 70 mph plus before the petrol/diesel engine takes over.

The battery is guaranteed for 8 years or 100,000 miles

For customers who have taken out a service contract, a certificate attesting to the level of battery charging performance may be made available after each periodic service of the vehicle. This certificate, when reselling the vehicle, will be a guarantee of battery performance for the new owner.
