Expert's Award Delights Arthurs Wrexham Peugeot
17th January 2018

There is no-one more thrilled that the Peugeot Expert has scooped a national award for the second year running than Arthurs Peugeot Wrexham’s sales executive Alan Fildes.

For 33 year old Alan, who has been at award-winning Arthurs Peugeot Wrexham for two years, is a big fan of the Peugeot Expert which has won the 2018 What Van? Award.

The Expert has been named joint ‘Medium Van of the Year’ 2018 – the second year in succession that it has taken the joint award following its international debut at the 2016 Commercial Vehicle Show in Birmingham.

Said Alan: “It is particularly pleasing that the judges recognised the Peugeot Expert’s versatility and low fuel consumption which I rate very highly and I know my customers do too.

“The Expert offers the lowest official fuel consumption and CO2 emissions in its class with 55.4mpg and 133g/km CO2.

“The range of body sizes and styles means the Expert ticks the boxes for a lot of professional trades, including electricians and plumbers in our territory.

“The Expert, with its BlueHDi 115 engine, is equipped with Stop and Start as well as six speed manual gearbox. All models come with the DAB digital radio, Bluetooth connectivity, a USB socket and audio jack with a 12 volt power point in the cabin.

“Half leather interior is part of the package along with a Peugeot Connect Radio, seven inch touchscreen, Mirror Link for enhanced smartphone connectivity and coffee break alert – who could ask for more!”

He added that the Peugeot Expert is available in three overall lengths and offers a maximum gross payload of 1,498kg. Body options include panel van, crew van and platform cab with a choice of trim levels from S, Professional and Professional Plus.

James Dallas, Editor of What Van? said the Peugeot Expert remained the most versatile and economical product in its sector. “The competition is tough, but the Expert is still on top,” he added.
