DEWI TRANSFERS HIS WARRANTY TO ARTHURS PEUGEOT

A Wrexham man who has completed 33 years in the motor industry has taken up a new appointment with Arthurs Peugeot, the award-winning Wrexham dealership.

Dewi Williams, 49, has been appointed warranty administrator based with Arthurs Peugeot in Wrexham though he will also be overseeing warranty administration for Arthurs Vauxhall in Oswestry and Newtown.

He described his role. “If a new car comes into one of our three dealerships under the three year manufacturer warranty I arrange for the fault to be rectified and claim back the cost from the manufacturer.”

The father of two young children started in the motor industry as a YTS body shop repairer on leaving school at the age of 16. He worked for a body builder in Gwersyllt before joining a Vauxhall dealership in Rhostyllen as a partsman.

He was involved in parts for 12 years prior to moving over to warranty work in 1998.

Dewi, who is a Tottenham Hotspur supporter, has a son Harri, four (named after Harry Kane but spelt the Welsh way) and daughter Ellie, five. His home is in Wrexham.
