ALAN’S FIRST TOP MANAGEMENT ROLE WITH A FAMILY OWNED DEALERSHIP
After 18 years in the motor industry, Alan Dandy is looking forward to working with a family owned dealership in a top sales role for the first time in his career.
Alan, 50, has joined award-winning Arthurs Peugeot Wrexham as their new General Sales Manager which is a promotion.
He has not previously gained the title with plc dealerships across the north west and is ‘excited’ about the prospects offered by Arthurs Peugeot.
Said Alan: “I have only previously worked for plc’s and the opportunity to join a family run firm, offering great potential, is an opportunity not to be missed.
“There is great potential to make this dealership bigger and better as the best Peugeot dealership in the region so I have grasped the opportunity with both hands.
“This is an exciting opportunity to show what I have learned over 18 years in the industry. I am looking forward to developing our current sales team of seven and reaching out to customers both old and new to demonstrate what we are capable of offering.
“I welcome everyone to come and see us at Rhostyllen.”
During his career in the industry, he has held several sales positions, rising from executive to manager with prestigious brands, but this is his first as general sales manager.
Alan, a motorbike enthusiast, owns a Honda Fireblade which he describes as his ‘passion.’
Said David Goldthorpe, Arthurs Peugeot Wrexham’s Retail Operator: “It’s fantastic to have Alan on board, his years in the motor trade and the depth of knowledge he has makes him a great addition to the team at Wrexham.
“Also, with his prestige dealer background, coming directly from a Jaguar dealership, his customer service skills and philosophy is a great match with the Arthurs culture.”
