Spacious, versatile and surprisingly efficient, the Peugeot Expert Combi is a popular choice for businesses, social groups and sports clubs alike. It’s also well worth considering if you have a larger family.
Available in Compact, Standard and Long variants, there’s an Expert Combi for virtually every scenario. This smart-looking people carrier is easy to enter and exit too, thanks to its twin sliding side doors. The vehicle comes in a choice of Bianca White or Dragoon Blue paint finishes as standard. Other eye-catching hues, such as Jet Black, Amber Red and Pearl Sand, are available as options.
The driver is provided with a height-adjustable seat and a tilt-and-telescopic steering wheel, allowing him or her to establish a comfortable position. The Expert Combi is an extremely versatile MPV. For one thing, all models (Compact, Standard or Long) can seat as many as nine people, or as few as two – it’s entirely up to you. The amount of load space will vary according to the version selected, as well as the number of seats included (all but the front row can be removed whenever required). Therefore, cargo capacity ranges between 140 litres (Compact, with nine occupants) and 2,763 litres (Long, with front seats in place).
The vehicle is typically powered by a 1.6-litre 94bhp diesel engine, which is available with Compact and Standard variants. This manages up to 52.3mpg, and produces CO2 emissions as low as 139g/km (when fuel-saving Start-Stop system is included). An optional (or standard with Long iterations) 113bhp unit is available too, which returns as much as 54.3mpg, while producing emissions as low as 137g/km.
Technology and safety
Whether driving alone or with a full complement of passengers, DAB digital radio – fitted as standard – provides an array of stations in pin-sharp sound quality. AUX and USB inputs are included too, allowing you to plug, play and charge your portable media devices. Thanks to the inclusion of Bluetooth, it’s easy to stream audio content from your smartphone, and enjoy hands-free mobile communication.
A number of driver aids are included as standard, such as Electronic Stability Programme and variable speed-limiting Cruise Control. Tyre pressure sensors are fitted too, alerting the driver to any significant reduction in tyre air pressure. Driver and co-passenger are provided with airbags and seatbelt reminders – and just in case damage is sustained to any of the vehicle’s wheels, a full-size spare is stored aboard.
