
Job Title: Parts Advisor – Service Department

About the Role
Arthurs Motor Group is looking for a motivated and organised Parts Advisor to join our busy Aftersales/Service Team in Newtown. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with motor trade experience (or a strong interest in the automotive sector) to play a key role in supporting workshop efficiency and customer satisfaction while helping grow the parts side of the business.
Key Responsibilities
· Sourcing and ordering vehicle parts from approved suppliers and manufacturers
· Pre-picking parts for the workshop to ensure smooth daily workflow
· Adding and updating parts pricing within the VHC (Vehicle Health Check) system
· Managing stock levels and supporting effective stock rotation
· Building and maintaining strong relationships with manufacturers and suppliers
· Assisting technicians and service advisors with parts queries
· Supporting goods-in processes and ensuring accurate stock control
· Building and developing trade customers in the local area to grow parts sales
Ideal Candidate
· Previous experience in a motor trade parts role (preferred but not essential)
· Strong organisational and communication skills
· Good IT skills and attention to detail
· Ability to work in a fast-paced workshop environment
· Team-focused with a proactive approach to problem-solving
· A customer-focused approach with an interest in business development
Working Hours
· Monday to Friday: 8:00am – 5:30pm
· Every other Saturday morning 8.30 till 12.30
· 1 hour lunch break
