Arthurs Group, the award-winning Vauxhall and Peugeot dealer, has announced the appointment of a Group Aftersales Manager.

He is Philip Corfield, 40, who has been promoted to oversee the aftersales teams at Arthurs Peugeot Wrexham and Arthurs Vauxhall Oswestry and Newtown who between them total 37 personnel.

There is also to be the job creation of an aftersales customer care role being created at Arthurs of Newtown which Arthurs regard as a ‘positive step forward.’

Of his new appointment, Philip, who continues to be Aftersales Manager at Arthurs Peugeot, said today: “Aftersales is a very key part of the customer experience and we intend to be second to none throughout the Peugeot and Vauxhall networks.

“We have a group policy on aftersales which involves unifying the three sites through the introduction of PSA standards.

“My role is to guide the three dealerships into implementing these processes and ensuring our customers, whether they have a Peugeot or a Vauxhall vehicles, receive the best possible experience.

“The emphasis on aftersales is now immense and every member of the three teams is aware of its increasing importance.  We want every customer to have the wow experience which means raising the bar to yet a higher level again.”

He said the Arthurs Group was introducing video technology to enhance transparency.  Every service customer was now being emailed a video to illustrate any problems with their car.

“We are now emailing the video whilst a car is being worked on which we regard as a vital way of keeping our customers informed,” he added.​
