DEALERSHIP FUNDRAISES FOR NIGHTINGALE HOUSE
16th December 2018
Staff at award-winning Peugeot dealership Arthurs of Wrexham have been raising money for Nightingale House and at the same time having fun in their festive jumpers.
Several members of the team arrived at work on Christmas Jumper Day last Friday wearing Christmas jumpers, Christmas earrings and Christmas Grinch socks.
“Many of us entered into the spirit of the occasion,” said Dealer Principal Philip Corfield who wore his Christmas jumper.
“At the same time, it was an opportunity to raise money for a really worthwhile cause which we all support.”
Debbie Barton, Corporate Partnerships Manager at Nightingale House, thanked Arthurs Peugeot Wrexham for getting involved with Jolly Jumpers.
She said: “There are so many ways to raise funds and Jolly Jumpers is a fun and colourful opportunity to support the hospice at Christmas time, while getting into the festive spirit.
“Every penny counts when it comes to raising the money we need to help us care for local people and their families affected by life-threatening or life-limiting illness. Each year it costs over £3million to run the hospice of which we receive 20% in statutory funding so we rely heavily on our community to reach our target.”
