BEST SEPTEMBER FOR 3 YEARS AT ARTHURS VAUXHALL

Sales of 68 registration cars have made it the best September in the last three years for award-winning Newtown dealer Arthurs Vauxhall.

And Grandland X, having its very first September since launch, accounted for 46% of new car sales at the Pool Road dealership.

A delighted Chris Venables, General Sales Manager at Arthurs of Newtown, said he was 'thrilled' with the high level of new car sales in the month and also the 'outstanding performance' of Grandland X.

"Grandland X is such a superb car I am not surprised at the public's response to its launch into the market," said Chris.

"I am also highly pleased with the overall sales of new Vauxhall cars which has given the dealership its best September for three years - with a third of the month still remaining.

"As a result new car sales are up year on year to date and contributing greatly to that has been Grandland X which is a really strong addition to the Vauxhall brand.

"The Grandland X has also been a huge favourite with our Motability customers with the all new models impressive specifications and from £0 advance payment it’s a hugely attractive proposition.

"On the back of selling more new cars we have increased our used car stock in the region of 50% and can now offer a greater variety than ever before.

"These are not only quality Vauxhall used cars, but other makes - and vans - as well.Our aim going forward is to continue to have even more used cars in stock to give customers the widest possible choice.

"We want the Pool Road dealership to become known as the 'go to place' for quality used cars and vans and I don't think we are far away from achieving that aim."

Chris added:“The plan is now to expand our well established sales team with an increase in personnel as we go forward to provide more support to our existing team and growing sales numbers.”
