ARTHURS VAUXHALL WELCOMES 100,000 VAUXHALL ORDERS FOR GRANDLAND X

16th October 2018

Award-winning Vauxhall dealer Arthurs of Oswestry and Newtown has warmly welcomed the Vauxhall announcement that orders for Grandland X which was launched less than a year ago have reached 100,000.

Arthurs say sales of Grandland X have been buoyed by the introduction of a new Euro 6.2 compliant 1.5 litre Turbo D (130PS) powertrain.

In SE trim, it achieves CO2 emissions from 180g/km and combined fuel economy of 68.9mpg when paired with the six speed manual transmission.

Arthurs say the powertrain is also available with a new eight speed automatic transmission which features an optimised torque converter to improve gear shift smoothness and reduce idling vibrations.

With winter fast approaching, the Grandland X is available with the fully electronic IntelliGrip traction control system ensuring the vehicle always remains stable on any surface.

IntelliGrip traction control is available in five modes - normal/on road; snow; mud; sand; ESP off.

"We are delighted that the Grandland X has achieved 100,000 orders - its popularity is also being experienced at Arthurs dealerships in Oswestry and Newtown," said Retail Operator David Goldthorpe.

"In addition, Vauxhall now offers customers an excellent new 1.5 litre Turbo D engine and innovative IntelliGrip technology."

Three Grandland X models are being displayed in Oswestry's Festival Square for this week, he added.
