Investment and training in electric vehicles has begun at Wrexham’s newest dealership Arthurs Peugeot.
Selected as one of the first electric vehicle dealerships in the Peugeot UK network, Arthurs now has the charging point, demonstrator vehicle, servicing equipment and its first dedicated technician.
Master Technician Neil Truscott, who was at the dealership many years prior to Arthurs Peugeot’s arrival and has 20-plus years Peugeot experience, has had the mandatory up to date training for electric vehicles at Peugeot Coventry.
In due course the full teams of technicians and sales personnel at award-winning Arthurs Peugeot Wrexham will receive either similar or appropriate electric vehicle training.
“Now that we have been appointed as a Peugeot electric vehicle dealer, we plan to be well ahead of the game,” said Aftersales Manager Philip Corfield.
“The dealership is making a large-scale investment in readiness for the electric evolution and the launch of hybrid models in 2018.
“We have put in place everything currently needed to be a Peugeot electric vehicle dealer, from the charging point to demonstrator van and servicing training, and our fleet will increase during next year.
“These are very exciting times at Arthurs Peugeot Wrexham,” Philip added.
