Motor trade veteran turns his hands to sales

Brian Lamb, a veteran in the motor trade, has joined the sales team at award-winning Peugeot dealer Arthurs of Wrexham.

It is, however, the first time in over 30 years that he has ever sold cars.

General Sales Manager Gareth Hughes has known Brian for many years and is confident he will make the transition from repairs to sales.

Fifty year old Brian, who is Wrexham born but now lives near Oswestry, was a self-employed specialist in paintless dent removal for 17 years.

He also worked for over 10 years as a time served mechanic for Roy Evans who ran a Peugeot dealership in Oswestry.

“I fancied a change and have taken up the challenge of selling cars,” said Brian.

“He has started very strongly and positively,” said Gareth who is planning for Brian to become the dealership’s second Motability specialist alongside Emma Maddocks who was appointed earlier in the year.
