Former Weight Watcher Sandra Lamb is far from being at a loss in her new role.
She is making a huge difference as a customer relations specialist in the motor trade.
Since recently joining award-winning Vauxhall dealer Arthurs of Oswestry and Newtown Sandra has scored 100% in the key area of retailer service recommendation.
This means that 100% of service customers she has approached would recommend the retailer to someone else.
“In a short space of time we have seen a marked difference in the number of surveys completed by customers,” said David Goldthorpe, Arthurs Vauxhall General Manager.
“And where there have been any issues Sandra has dealt with them promptly to make sure the customer is 100% happy. She will be an asset to us and has fitted into the team very well.
“For customers due a service or MOT, Sandra will call them, remind them and book them in. She will make a follow up call to everyone who has been in for service to ensure that the experience has been good and that they would recommend the dealer.
“This is a very important part of Vauxhall customer service standards,” he added.
Sandra previously spent 26 years with Weight Watchers as a Diamond Coach in Oswestry, Ellesmere and Wem, reducing her own weight from 17 stone to 10 stone.
Through her previous job, she not only knows a lot of Arthurs customers in those towns, but is already familiar with Vauxhall - driving her own Corsa.
Sandra, who lives in Morda, said: “Customer service has to be 100% - that’s a priority. The role is very different and challenging and I am learning new techniques.”
