A family tradition for over 70 years!

Arthurs is one of the longest established family owned Vauxhall retailers in the country, having represented Vauxhall since 1939.

Originally based in Oswald Road in Oswestry, the company has relocated several times as the business has grown. The company has always based it’s strategy on growing through offering the highest levels of customer care, which has resulted in many awards over many years.

In 2006, the company was invited to take over the adjoining Mid-Wales Vauxhall territory which resulted in the company taking over the existing Vauxhall dealership in Newtown, Powys. This was followed by a major redevelopment of these premises in 2010 to give class leading facilities to Vauxhall customers in Mid-Wales, and brought the premises up to the latest Vauxhall corporate standards.

Retaining it’s family values the company looks after it’s employees which results in the staff turnover being extremely low, many of which have been with the company over 20 years.

Arthurs supports many local charities and other worthy causes as it is mindful of the need to be an active member of the local community.

With Vauxhall continuing to launch exciting new innovative models and industry leading initiatives such as the recently introduced, Vauxhall Lifetime Warranty, Arthurs is also looking to innovate and progress in the future.
